We are looking for a Production Manager to join our client’s nursery just outside of Moss Vale.
Monday – Friday 7.30am – 4.30pm
Job Description: Manage all facets of farm production to deliver consistent quality stock supply. Communicate, motivate and lead by example to foster a positive culture of productivity and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Director to determine short- and long-term Production goals
- Drive improvement through process innovation and staff development
- Develop weekly work plans for production team
- Ensure quality standards e.g. NATSPEC
- Manage OH&S policies and procedures
General Duties:
- Stock management plans
- Stock movements
- Implement production plans
- Manage and mentor production team efficiency and work quality
- Liaise as required with Sales team
- Manage farm infrastructure improvements and maintenance
- General nursery maintenance
Experience Required:
- Horticulture qualifications and/or nursery industry/landscaping experience
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet
- People management experience
- Efficient time management
